Based at our research and development laboratory, our dedicated scientists readily respond to the challenges set by our customers either by creating new products or adapting existing solutions. Where appropriate, product matching and competitor product analysis are carried out with regular meetings held to discuss development projects.

By researching the raw materials required for a project and considering factors such as the environment, performance, price and availability, we can often make recommendations for a more efficient solution.

The development process encompasses the following phases.

Phase One: Concept analysis

Understanding our client's requirements is pivotal. With a unique partnership approach, we work closely with our clients to fully understand their product requirements

Phase Two: Laboratory trials

Lab tests must be executed before field trials to ensure the product meets all pre-agreed performance criteria and compatibility

Phase Three: Field Trials

In-field trials are required to gauge whether the product meets all performance requirements

Phase Four: Final Formulation

Once all trials are complete and the client is fully satisfied, the product can be manufactured

Innovation

Cleaning and maintenance chemicals manufactured by chemists for private label sales

Here at Fisher Research we try to do things differently. We have the desire to create new and innovative products and explore the many new raw materials which are emerging to replace the traditional ones. This presents an especially difficult challenge to our formulators but it is stimulating work, and our experienced technical team will wrestle with the challenges to deliver effective and viable solutions.

Our innovative solutions include…

Super concentrates designed to reduce carbon footprint, unique easy-clean/anti-graffiti coatings and treatments, green non-hazardous graffiti removing chemicals, super boosted bacteria for use in many cleaning applications and high performance pH neutral detergents.

"It is our creativity and imagination that makes us strong. We also want our products to be the best possible and are always willing to review and change."

Antony Fisher – Chairman

Fisher Research also follows all of the important guidelines set out by REACH.

To make the people who place chemicals on the market (manufacturers and importers responsible for understanding and managing the risks associated with their use).

To allow the free movement of substances in the EU market.

To enhance innovation in and the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry.

To promote the use of alternative methods for the assessment of the hazardous properties of substances e.g. quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR).
